All hikes at Bright Leaf are guided hikes.
The Friends of Bright Leaf volunteers are
happy to provide guided hikes to the public.
Guided hikes are open to the public and are on the second Saturday and
second Sunday
of each month.
Monthly hikes start at 9:00am. Please arrive on time.
Monthly hikes are usually 3+ miles long and last about 2 1/2 hours.
Inform us ahead of time if you have a group or if you would like a shorter hike.
Wear sturdy shoes and bring your own water.
Sorry, but no dogs are allowed in the preserve and the rocky trail is not suitable for strollers.
In either case, we can either arrange for another docent or set up a separate hike for you.
